Size Guide
Sizing varies by brand, sizing system and era, so we provide standardized sizing information for every item:
- Size — our standardized size, from XXS to 6XL. On bottoms, a waist/length size such as W34 L32 may appear alongside it.
- Gender — whether the item was originally made for men or women.
- Measurements — the item's measurements, taken by us.
- Label — the original size shown on the item's label, reproduced as it appears.

How we measure
All measurements are taken with the item lying flat.
| Measurement | How it is taken |
|---|---|
| ½ chest | Straight across the chest, from armpit to armpit. |
| ½ waist | Straight across the waist, from side to side. |
| ½ hip | Straight across the widest part of the hip. |
| ½ thigh | Straight across the thigh, just below the crotch seam. |
| ½ hem | Straight across the hem, from side to side. |
| Front rise | From the crotch seam to the top edge of the waistband. |
| Inseam | From the crotch seam to the hem, along the inside leg. |
| Outseam | From the top edge of the waistband to the hem, along the outside leg. |
| Length | From the top edge of the garment to the hem, measured straight down. |
How to check fit
Compare our measurements with a similar item you already own that fits you well:
- Lay it flat on a hard surface and take the same measurements.
- Compare your results with ours; slight differences are normal.
